The other night was an amazing one for the team at BURN. We were presented with the Grand Prix at the RAR Awards, an accolade that recognises us as the best marketing agency in the UK. It’s a phenomenal endorsement of the quality of the team here – particularly when you realise we were competing against over 9,000 agencies for the award.
A few weeks ago, we found out that we were finalists in 7 categories at the awards (which are organised by The Drum magazine). They were:
- Best Direct Marketing (DM) Agency
- Best Data Agency
- Best for Creativity and Innovation
- Best for Strategic Thinking
- Best for Service Delivery
- Best for Client Service
- Best for Effectiveness
Finalists (and ultimately winners) are decided based on client votes, so the awards represent the truest recognition of consistent high-quality performance.
The RAR Awards are always a fun evening and a good chance to meet friends old and new. Heading to the Marriott in Grosvenor Square last night, the team was excited but by no means expectant of success – after all, we were up against some excellent agencies.
So, we were over the moon to find that we won four of the seven categories above. We were recognised as the UK’s Number 1 for Data, Best Agency for Strategic Thinking, Best Agency for Client Service and the Most Effective Marketing Agency in the UK. We were delighted – particularly with the latter award which recognises some of the unbelievable results we have achieved for clients – largely due to the investment made in the last year or so in the Proven Performance process and tools.
We found ourselves trooping up to collect award after award. But none of us could have predicted what came next – as we were awarded the ultimate prize – the Grand Prix. This is given to the company who is deemed to be the UK’s Number 1 Marketing Agency – the best of the best if you like. It’s a truly magnificent accolade.
